Traditional Performing Arts & Culture School While learning about tradition, your time is enriched.

 

The Korean Traditional Performing Arts Culture Academy started in 1988, and currently runs practical programs in more than 100 different traditional arts subjects.
It provides classes in detailed step-by-step courses customized to the level of each students, ranging from beginners to majors.
Students of the Traditional Culture Academy can participate in performances on Korean Traditional Music Day (July) and Completion Presentation (December). Plus, they can be the lead in Korean traditional performing arts, which will present them with precious moments.

Stage Stepping Sprouting Closing Special Intensive
Training Course Introductory course for those who are new to Korean traditional music
*Korean Traditional Music Day participation allowed
For those who have completed the Stepping Stage or those who have basic training from another institute
*Korean Traditional Music Day participation allowed
For those who have completed the Sprouting Stage or those who have more than 3 years training from another institute
*Completion Presentation participation allowed
For those who have completed the Closing Stage or those who have more than 5 years training from another institute
*Completion Presentation participation allowed
For those who have completed the Closing Stage or those who have more than 5 years training from another institute
*Completion Presentation participation allowed

  • One-year system (3-year circulation)
  • Duration: Feb 2, 2020 (Sun) to Dec 5, 2020 (Sat)
  • Summer Vacation: July 26, 2020 (Sun) to Aug 22, 2020 (Sat) / 4 weeks
  • Time: one 90-minute session per week
  • One-year system (advanced program)
