Korean Traditional Performing Arts Foundation was established with the aim of promoting Korean traditional arts and of enhancing people's cultural awareness through the expansion of cultural opportunities.
We were first established as the Gugak Cultural Foundation (Juridical Foundation) with the permission of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea, then in 2009 we were renamed Korean Traditional Performing Arts Foundation (Juridical Foundation). Since then, we have been carrying out various projects to revitalize Korean traditional arts.
Currently, we are striving to spread and expand the base of Korean traditional arts, develop its superior arts content, popularize Korean traditional arts and foster new human resources. We are also actively engaged in exchanges with overseas countries to promote the brand value of Korean traditional arts.
In the future, we will share the roots and values of Korean traditional arts with the Korean people and communicate with the world through Korean traditional arts.
