The objective is to discover up-and-coming artists and organizations in the field of traditional performing arts and build a foundation for their activities by strengthening their competitiveness, assisting them in developing their repertoires, and providing them with a stage to showcase their works.
The project is aimed at discovering emerging artists and organizations in each field of tradition and creation (instrumental music, vocal music, Korean dance, and performing arts), helping them develop a repertoire through mentoring and workshops, and giving them the opportunity to put on independent performances.
From 2015 to 2022, 159 rising artists and organizations were discovered to support their activities, and a total of 236 independent performances were staged.

Performance Experimental Stage for Up-and-Coming Gugak Artists
- We are organizing the Experimental Stage for Up-and-Coming Gugak Artists where emerging artists and organizations with great potential can showcase their repertoires.
There will be 20 performances of various repertoires centered on traditional and creative instrumental music, vocal music, Korean dance, and performing arts.
