Revitalizing Korean Traditional Performing Arts

Revitalizing Korean Traditional Performing Arts

The aim is to pass on traditional theater performances and provide more opportunities for people to enjoy them by holding the Korean Traditional Performing Arts Festival.

The Korean Traditional Performing Arts Festival was launched in 2007 to promote the modernization and popularization of traditional performing arts so that they can become an integral part of people’s lives. It provides a playground for performers, spectacles for the audience, and a platform that brings everyone together in joy and laughter. Each year, great masters of the arts and up-and-coming stars are invited to showcase their talents. This year’s festival will be held from July 12 (Wed.) to 16 (Sun.), 2023 at the National Gugak Center.
