The Korean Traditional Performing Arts Foundation (KoTPA) is dedicated to assisting private arts organizations and creators in the field of traditional arts in building their capacities by providing support for content development, initiating talent development projects, and operating the Arts Creation Studio Maru. The foundation has also been striving to establish traditional performing arts as an integral part of people’s everyday lives by hosting performances and festivals, producing promotional content, and operating a culture academy.

By enabling artists specializing in traditional arts to engage in sustainable artistic activities and supporting the development and dissemination of traditional cultural content that fills the gap the traditional performing arts and the public, we are showcasing the charm and value of Korean traditional performing arts, which are the very roots of K-culture, and contributing to the global branding of Korea’s traditional performing arts.
